The Chinese Society of Geriatrics organized the first editorial committee of the training textbook "Chinese Geriatric Medical Care"
On the afternoon of October 10, 2016, supported by the Health Bureau of the Logistics Support Department of the Central Military Commission and organized by the Chinese Geriatric Society, the first editorial board of the training material "Chinese Geriatric Medical Care" was held in the conference room of the Nursing Department of the outpatient building of the PLA General Hospital. Fan Li, President of Chinese Geriatric Society; Senior Colonel Guo Yuhe, Health Bureau, Logistics Support Department, Central Military Commission; Vice President and Secretary General of Chinese Society of Gerontology; The president of the Medical Care Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and the director of the Nursing Department of the PLA General Hospital, such as PI Hongying, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Qin Xiaoling, deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Geriatric Society.
After more than half a year of careful planning by President Fan Li, Academician Wang Longde and other experts, the repeated combing of the content of the compilation has gradually improved the top-level design of the training materials of "China's Elderly Medical Care". This set of textbooks is aimed at the health problems of the elderly in China and the status quo of the domestic elderly care service industry, with the strong east wind of the National Health and Health Conference, actively respond to the call of the Party Central Committee and The State Council, implement the policies of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Health and Family Planning Commission, Logistics and Health Bureau of the Central Military Commission, and focus on promoting the training of geriatric professionals and nursing talents. Based on geriatric nursing, following the new concept of international geriatric medicine and medical care, referring to relevant authoritative works and the latest results of geriatric care practice, we organize well-known geriatric medicine and nursing experts at home and abroad to compile. This series of teaching materials aims at cultivating practical professional geriatrics and nursing talents. It not only brings advanced, scientific and practical new concepts of geriatric care to the elderly care practitioners in hospitals at all levels, military rest centers, primary medical service institutions and elderly care institutions, but also serves as training materials for students of geriatric care. And for the elderly family members or chronically ill elderly people as self-health care, home care important guidance materials.
The meeting was arranged in a compact and simple way. First, the vice president of the Army briefly introduced the experts at the meeting. Then President Fan Li introduced the work progress of the training materials, and put forward the requirements and hopes of the editorial board meeting, focusing on the preparation of the materials at various time nodes; Haishan, editor of People's Medical Publishing House, was invited to attend the meeting and explained to everyone the writing and editing requirements of Human Health Society for training materials; Then the chief editor of each volume called the deputy chief editor to have a group discussion, put forward suggestions and sort out the writing ideas of each volume; Finally, the summary and work deployment are carried out.
The meeting clarified the work tasks of the chief editor, deputy editor, editorial board, secretary and secretariat and the interactive interconnection mechanism of the editorial board. The experts attending the meeting were enthusiastic and said that the meeting was very efficient. After face-to-face communication and sorting out, the writing goals and ideas were clearer. After the meeting, they would devote themselves to the intense writing work in accordance with the requirements of the meeting and actively complete the relevant tasks.
