In response to the national call for caring for the health of the elderly and effectively improving their quality of life, on March 28, 2025, the "Caring for the Elderly, Preventing Thrombosis" science popularization public welfare activity, hosted by the Medical and Elderly Care Integration Promotion Committee of the China Geriatrics Society, was held at the Wenquan Town Elderly Care Home in Haidian District, Beijing. After the donation ceremony, the Medical and Elderly Care Integration Promotion Committee of the China Geriatrics Society held a professional popular science lecture on "Caring for the Elderly and Preventing Thrombosis" around the theme of this event. During the lecture, experts elaborately explained the efficacy and correct usage methods of anti-thrombotic compression stockings to the elderly in the nursing home and medical staff.
