The affiliated unit of the Burn and Trauma Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society was awarded the "Core Unit of Collaborative Network" and "Core Unit of Burn and Trauma and Wound Repair" by the National Geriatric Clinical Medical Research Center (PLA General Hospital).
On August 5, the awarding ceremony of the "Collaborative Network Core Unit" and "Burn Wound and Wound Repair Core Unit" of the National Clinical Medical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases (PLA General Hospital) was held at the Xianghu Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, the affiliate unit of the Burn Wound Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society. The awarding ceremony was presided over by Vice President Zeng Yuanlin, President Fan Li was awarded the "Collaborative network core unit" of the National Geriatric Disease Clinical Medical Research Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of NTU, and Director Cao Feng was awarded the "Burn Wound and wound Repair Core Unit" of the National Geriatric Disease Clinical Medical Research Center of the burn Department.
Subsequently, the experts held discussions and exchanges on the development of burn and wound repair, and put forward constructive opinions on the development of burn trauma and wound repair for the elderly from different angles according to the current situation and development trend of the industry at home and abroad.
President Fan Li pointed out that as the "core unit of the collaborative network", the First Affiliated Hospital of NTU should give full play to its regional radiation capacity and influence, strengthen cooperation and exchanges with medical institutions in surrounding areas, and promote the popularization and application of wound repair and burn wound treatment technology for the elderly. In addition, the First Affiliated Hospital should constantly share medical resources through the organization of academic seminars, technical training, remote consultation and other forms, improve the overall medical level of the region, and bring good news to more elderly patients.

In recent years, the Burn Trauma Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society has actively responded to the call of the General Assembly and held an annual conference on the medicine and science and technology innovation of burn trauma for the elderly, focusing on the forefront of international development, releasing group standards and expert consensus, and planning the future development of the discipline. At the same time, actively carry out social welfare activities, and organize academicians and experts to carry out scientific and technological assistance in rural areas and grassroots levels; Establish the branch's wechat public account, and vigorously carry out science popularization and education. The National Clinical Medical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases (PLA General Hospital) for the first time in the field of surgery (burn trauma and wound repair) award, a milestone significance, will further promote the development of China's elderly burn trauma and wound repair medicine.
