Hu Yixin, director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of the Chinese Geriatric Society, introduced that since the establishment of the society in 2016, it has always hoped to combine the international advanced geriatric medicine concept with the national strategic direction and the current situation of geriatric talents in China, and serve the basic geriatric doctors at all levels to master the clinical skills of geriatric medicine and professional development. The orientation of this training course is not only a continuation of the previous geriatric doctor continuing education project, but also one of the contents of the "Research on the Multi-disciplinary Outpatient Service model and service Norms of Geriatric Medicine" project undertaken by the Beijing Municipal Health Commission.
