The Dragon Boat Festival is approaching, and the aroma of bamboo leaves is wafting through the air. To ensure the physical health of frontline workers and actively implement the "Healthy China" strategy, Professor Huang Daifa, Vice President of the Chronic Disease Prevention and Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society and director of the Second Department of the Cadre Ward of the General Hospital of the Northern Theater Command, led a multi-disciplinary expert team from the General Hospital of the Northern Theater Command to visit AVIC Shenyang Aircraft Corporation to carry out a multi-disciplinary public welfare free medical consultation activity. Provide face-to-face health consultation, disease screening and health knowledge popularization services for enterprise employees, and convey warmth and care.
During this public welfare free medical consultation event, the expert team provided free examinations such as blood pressure and blood sugar tests, heart and lung auscultation, and film reading for common occupational diseases, chronic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and metabolic diseases among enterprise employees. An employee said that he had suffered from multiple diseases such as hypertension and diabetes for many years but had never paid enough attention to them. This free medical consultation not only discovered the problems existing in his body. Through the expert's patient and detailed answers, he also understood the harm of the disease. The expert's systematic treatment suggestions also gave him confidence in the treatment.
Director Liang Chunbo, a member of the Chronic Disease Prevention and Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, provided individualized answers on the spot to common problems among employees such as hypertension and diabetes. The employees who participated in the free medical consultation on the spot all expressed, "The expert team from the General Hospital of the Northern Theater Command could come to the front line of the enterprise to provide us with such meticulous and patient free medical consultations. It really warms us up. Such a free medical consultation is wonderful." When the free medical consultation event ended that day, there was still a continuous stream of employees arriving at the scene. The expert team continued to serve the employees until the last few employees left satisfied. The event then came to an end. A total of more than 230 employees participated in this free medical consultation.
