The "Multi-disciplinary Exchange Meeting on Senile Comorbidities" sponsored by the Chinese Geriatric Society of Comorbidities Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Branch was successfully held
On December 7, 2024, the "Multi-Disciplinary Exchange Meeting on Senile Comorbidity" sponsored by the Comorbidity Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society was successfully held in Beijing. This meeting set up 5 special sessions, respectively, kidney failure combined with coronary heart disease research discussion, thrombolysis topic exchange, high-risk complex coronary heart disease intervention, heart failure, elderly comorbiditis precision diagnosis and treatment frontier and transformation. Professor Zheng Jingang, President and Professor Yin Tong, Vice president of the Chinese Geriatric Society Comorbis Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Branch, exchanged ideas with more than 100 experts from all over the country.
The special session of "Research and Discussion on Renal Failure Combined with Coronary Heart Disease" focused on the multidisciplinary integrated management of renal failure and coronary heart disease, and verified the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration in the management of patients with renal failure combined with coronary heart disease from multiple aspects of clinical practice
The "Thrombolysis Topic Exchange" session focused on the randomized controlled clinical study (ATTRACTIVE study) of high thrombotic load STEMI, and invited a number of well-known experts involved in the study to share the latest research results and share the application of thrombolysis therapy through a number of real clinical cases. This special exchange not only promoted the in-depth discussion on the clinical research and treatment of STEMI with high thrombotic load, but also provided important academic support for the further development of comorbidities precision diagnosis and treatment in the future.
The special session of "High-risk Complex Coronary Heart Disease Intervention", jointly organized by the Comorbiditic Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and the High-risk Complex Coronary Heart Disease Intervention Alliance of the Department of Cardiovascular Science and Technology of Peking University, brought together the wonderful cases shared by 10 hospitals in the Department of cardiovascular science and technology of Peking University in Beijing, which fully demonstrated the cutting-edge technology and practical results of interventional treatment of complex high-risk coronary heart disease.
In the special session of "Heart Failure", the participating experts conducted in-depth discussions on the standardized diagnosis and treatment of heart failure and individual management, among which the Chinese medicine experts carried out a warm discussion on the treatment strategy of integrated Chinese and Western medicine for heart failure, and exchanged research experiences and experiences. This heart failure special session focused on multidisciplinary exchanges, the standard diagnosis and treatment protocols of HFrEF and HFpEF, the instrumental treatment of chronic heart failure and the diagnosis and treatment ideas and clinical practice experience of rare diseases such as myocardial amyloidosis were exchanged, and many inspiring views were put forward. The aim is to establish a high-level diagnosis and treatment exchange platform to promote the high-quality development of heart failure treatment and all-round management of elderly patients with comorbidity in China.
The special session of "Frontier and Transformation of Precision Diagnosis and Treatment for Geriatric Comorborbies" gathered well-known experts and scholars in gerontology, clinical pharmacy, laboratory medicine, basic medicine and nursing, etc., to jointly demonstrate the latest research progress and practical application of precision diagnosis and treatment for geriatric comorborbies. The forum focused on the progress of mRNA technology and disease treatment, the construction of experimental diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases, neuropsychiatric diseases and pharmaceutical microbiome, and precision medicine for senile comorbidity: Clinical application and cutting-edge progress, safety risks of elderly patients using cardiovascular benefit hypoglycemic drugs, precision exercise intervention strategies for chronic disease comorbid diseases, refined management of emergency rescue for severe diabetic ketoacidosis, multi-drug management and prescription simplification strategies for the elderly, and other cutting-edge topics. Through the consideration of molecular markers, molecular interventions, multi-omics characteristics, and clinical precision interventions for chronic comorbidity in the elderly, experts have deeply discussed new strategies and new technologies to guide the individualized diagnosis and treatment of comorbidity in the elderly.
Taking the form of a combination of offline and online, this conference attracted the participation of experts and scholars from all over the country to discuss and exchange the optimization of comorbidity management of elderly patients, providing new ideas and methods for clinical treatment. In the future, the Chinese Geriatric Society comorbis Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Branch will continue to promote multidisciplinary team cooperation to further improve the treatment effect and quality of life of elderly patients.
