Academic Conference of Health Management Branch of Chinese Geriatric Society Held in Shanghai in 2024
On April 13, 2024, guided by the Chinese Geriatric Society, sponsored by the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, and jointly sponsored by Beijing Vocational College of Social Management (Training Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs) and Reed Sinoptila Exhibition Co., LTD., the academic conference themed "Enjoy Silver Age, Healthy Peer" was successfully held in Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. Its purpose is to implement the major strategic deployment of "Healthy China Action (2019-2030)" and "Comprehensively promote the construction of Healthy China", explore active and healthy aging policies and industrial development, and study the professional construction and talent training path of smart and healthy elderly care.
The opening ceremony and closing ceremony of the conference were presided over by Sun Jinhai, Vice president of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society and director of the Military Health Management Teaching and Research Department of Naval Medical University. Tu Qilei, President of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and dean of the School of Geriatric Welfare of Beijing Vocational College of Social Management (Training Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs), extended a warm welcome to all the experts and fellow participants at the opening ceremony, and sincerely hoped that the research progress and strategy application of geriatric health management could be discussed through this conference. We look forward to the collective wisdom, learning from each other's strengths, and working together to improve the risk assessment and management ability of elderly health.
The forum set up six keynote reports: Tu Qilei, president of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and president of the College of Elderly Welfare of Beijing Vocational College of Social Management (Training Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs), centered on the background of silver economy, combined with the needs of elderly health services, and referred to the characteristics of German community health and elderly care services, proposed that under the trend of rapid aging in China, The trend and reform of health management personnel training; Sun Jinhai, vice president of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and director of the Military Health Management Teaching and Research Department of the Navy Medical University, explained nutrition and health management strategies and applications for the elderly in plain language. Meng Shu, member of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, deputy director and chief physician of the cardiovascular Department of Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, combined with his many years of cardiovascular clinical experience, explained the treatment progress and prevention of common cardiovascular diseases in the elderly; Yu Bo, chairman of the Sports Sticking Treatment Technology Group of the Rehabilitation Treatment Special Committee of the Chinese Rehabilitation Medical Association, director and chief physician of the rehabilitation Medicine Department of the First People's Hospital Affiliated to the School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, combined his rich rehabilitation experience, bold thinking, and shared the innovation and practice of rehabilitation strategies for the elderly with sarcopenia; Chen Cuihua, member of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, director and associate professor of the Department of Health Management of the School of Public Administration, Shanghai Open University, fully considered the psychological characteristics of the elderly, combined with data, and shared the development and practical experience of the mental health management of the elderly from the perspective of positive psychology; Li Yumei, member of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, deputy director and chief nurse of the Nursing Department of Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, shared the research and application of aging based on FSN theory according to practical experience and theoretical knowledge. In the course of the meeting, Sun Jinhai, Fu Hailong and Meng Shu three directors conducted wonderful chairing and commenting on the meeting report.
The conference invited 6 industry experts and 3 host guests to share the latest frontier of health management application development under the silver economy, discuss active and healthy aging policies and industrial development, study the construction and training of smart elderly care professionals, and health management discipline education. The experts gave wonderful speeches, and the participants actively exchanged ideas. At the same time, the 89th China International Medical Equipment (Spring) Expo (CMEF) and CECN International Pension Welfare and Nursing Supplies Expo held in the same period were well promoted and publicized to help the high-quality development of aging health.
