Review of the Second Standing Committee and the Sixth Plenary Session of the Second Committee of the Hematology Branch of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics
At the beginning of January, such a good time, sponsored by the Hematology Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, the "Second Standing Committee of the Second Committee of the Hematology Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and the sixth General Committee meeting", on January 5, 2024, as scheduled. The conference invited the leaders of the national competent authorities and well-known domestic blood disease experts to make relevant academic reports, and carry out special training and technical exchanges. During the three-day conference, the main venue and 9 sub-venues gathered big names and talents, and the Hematology Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society provided a wonderful academic feast for hematology doctors.

On the afternoon of January 5, the Standing Committee was convened first, and Professor Li Junmin, president of the Hematology Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, summarized the work of the Hematology Branch in 2023 and planned the work in 2024 to the Standing Committee, conveying the spirit of the relevant documents of the Chinese Geriatric Society. The Standing Committee at the meeting fully affirmed the work of the Sub-committee and expressed strong support for the resolutions of the General Assembly and Sub-committee. After the Standing Committee, the Expert Consensus on the Whole-Process Management of Elderly Multiple Myeloma in China, co-authored by domestic clinical experts in the field of myeloma and invited by the Hematology Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, was successfully released, improving the whole-process management level of elderly multiple myeloma (MM) patients in China and promoting the development of MM.

It covers the current status, diagnosis and treatment of acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia and chronic myeloid leukemia.
