On November 12, 2022, "The Second Plenary meeting of the first Committee of the Chinese Geriatrics Society of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Branch and the second Academic Annual Meeting" was held in Jinan in a combination of online and offline mode. Professor Fan Li, President of Chinese Geriatric Society, and Professor Chen Yuguo, President of Shandong University Qilu Hospital, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.
Professor Fan Li, President of the Chinese Geriatric Society, expressed warm congratulations on the convening of this meeting, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the experts and scholars who supported and participated in this meeting. It is believed that the convening of this conference will make more contributions to promoting the in-depth development of clinical, scientific research and science popularization of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine prevention and treatment of geriatric diseases in China, and promote the integration of complementary advantages of Chinese and Western medicine. Chen Yuguo, president of Shandong University Qilu Hospital, said that the country attaches great importance to the construction of a healthy China and attaches great importance to the important role of the development of traditional Chinese medicine in a healthy China.
