Academic Training Meeting on Difficult Cases Discussion of Cardiovascular Disease Branch of Chinese Geriatric Society
On September 3, 2022, the "Academic Training Meeting on Difficult Case Discussion of Cardiovascular Disease Branch of Chinese Geriatric Society" sponsored by the Cardiovascular Disease Branch of Chinese Geriatric Society and hosted by the People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was held in Beijing in a combination of online and offline. Professor Yang Yuejin, President of the Cardiovascular Disease Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, and Professor Li Nanfang, Vice President, served as the chairman of the conference, and Professor Yuan Jinqing, Vice President, Professor Zhao Xueyan, Deputy Director, Associate Professor Leng Wenxiu, presided over the meeting. This meeting focused on the northwest region, carefully selected difficult, complex and typical cases successfully diagnosed and treated by major hospitals in the northwest, organized authoritative expert comments and in-depth discussions, aimed at effectively improving the national cardiovascular doctors disease diagnosis and treatment and clinical service capabilities, to provide medical workers with diagnosis and treatment ideas and inspiration.
The six exciting cases of this conference were provided by the People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University, Qinghai Red Cross Hospital, the People's Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the Fuwai Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, covering hot topics such as differential diagnosis and treatment of secondary blood pressure, protection of target organs of hypertension, and rare complications after intervention in elderly patients. Professor Yang Yuejin, Professor Li Nanfang, Professor Yuan Jinqing, Professor Zhong Ping, Professor Shen Yanmei and Professor Luan Hong made wonderful comments and in-depth discussions online. The conference was broadcasted live on Fuwai's online platform, and simultaneously broadcasted live on multiple platforms such as Central Video, Fuwai Healthy Life, Fuwai Online, circular magazine video number, Baidu Health, and Weibo health, and provided the function of long-term review and learning.
