Health Management Branch of Chinese Geriatric Society Launches "Party Building + Free Clinic" Public Welfare Activities to Welcome August 1 and Serve the Elderly
On the morning of July 26, 2023, on the eve of the "August 1" Army Day, Wang Guangjing, deputy director general of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, and the team of Beijing Yuhe Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Rehabilitation Hospital went to the Veterans Service Station of Xueyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing, to carry out "Party building + free diagnosis" to welcome the August 1 service for the elderly.
At the event site, residents came in an endless stream, and Song Ying, chief physician of neurology expert and Zheng Haibin, attending physician of vascular surgery, successively gave health science lectures and answered questions. The team experts provide free TCM health consultation, TCM massage services, blood pressure and blood sugar measurement, and give advice and guidance on reasonable diet, rational drug use, appropriate exercise for elderly people with chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.
The community to carry out the eight-one for the old service public welfare activities, won the praise of the old soldiers and family residents, service station leaders personally on-site guidance, staff fully cooperate, volunteers are not afraid of the heat, health services more than 80 people.
