At 9:30 a.m., Xu Xiaodong, Vice President and Secretary General of the Chinese Geriatric Society, Ding Zhiping, Deputy Secretary General Zhao Jianguo, Deputy Director Xuan Aiju, Shan Zhigang, Director general of the Emergency Medicine Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, and Zhao Yue, deputy director general and six people arrived at the second terminal of the Capital International Airport. Welcome Professor Guo Wei, leader of the 29th Chinese medical aid team to Guinea and president of the Emergency Medicine Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, to successfully complete the task and return triumphantly.

Professor Guo Wei walked out of the exit gate in good spirits, shaking hands and talking with everyone. Everyone was eager to know whether Professor Guo lived well, whether he adapted to the local climate, whether he worked hard and so on during the long one and a half years in Africa, thousands of miles away. Professor Guo Wei thanked everyone for their concern and made a simple summary of this task: As the medical team leader, he was strict with himself, willing to contribute, and united his teammates to successfully complete the routine work of ";medical teaching and research" and all aspects of life of the medical team. At the same time, we have strengthened our own learning and cultivation, and achieved many results. The postgraduate course "Professional Quality of Medical Students" presided over was approved as the demonstration course of "Curriculum Ideology and Politics" of Capital Medical University in 2022. In 2023, there will be one master's graduate student and one new master's student enrolled. A computer software copyright has been approved; Published 5 SCI articles (total impact factor 23.6); Edited/translated 4 books (2 in French) during the period of aid to Africa; Won the glorious title of "Excellent Captain of Foreign Health Aid"; by the National Health and Health Commission.

President Fanley has always been concerned about the work and life of the medical team. Xu Xiaodong, Vice president and Secretary-General, said that this is the first time that the leadership and expert professors of the Chinese Geriatric Society branch led the national medical team to send foreign aid, and the medical team represents the image of our country and the level of experts of the Chinese Geriatric Society. During his one and a half year's work, President Guo Wei, united with the expert team, overcame difficulties and worked hard to selflessly pass on advanced domestic medical technology to Guinea's medical colleagues. During this period, he rescued and treated many international friends and many local people, carried out many academic exchange activities and published many papers, which won praise from Guinea's national leaders and won honor for the country. President Guo Wei won the honor for the Chinese Geriatrics Society, and he is a role model for us to learn from.

President Guo Wei said that the achievements could not be separated from the care and support of the leadership of the Institute and colleagues.
