The conference and the first Annual meeting of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine was held in Jinan, and the meeting was carried out in a combination of online and offline mode. The conference was sponsored by the Chinese Geriatric Society, organized by the Preparatory Committee of the Chinese Geriatric Society Branch of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, and co-organized by Shandong University Qilu Hospital. Professor Fan Li, President of the Chinese Geriatric Society, congratulated on the founding meeting and annual meeting of the Chinese Geriatric Society Association of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Branch. Xu Xiaodong, Vice President and Secretary-General, made a report on Strengthening Capacity Building and Promoting the Development of Geriatric Medicine, and Deng Dongfei, Deputy Secretary-General, read the Reply to the Preparation for the establishment of the Chinese Geriatric Society Branch of Integrative Chinese and Western Medicine. Professor Liu Deshan of Shandong University Qilu Hospital, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of Chinese Geriatrics Society of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Branch, reported on the preparatory work of the branch. The meeting elected the first committee of the Chinese Geriatric Society of Integrative Chinese and Western Medicine Branch: Professor Liu Deshan of Shandong University Qilu Hospital was elected as the first president. Professor Wu Yu, Xiyuan Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences; Professor Yang Ge, Guang 'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences; Professor Tong Zhanqi, Second Medical Center, People's Liberation Army General Hospital; Professor Hu Guojie, Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University; Professor Wang Xin, Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University; Professor Luo Libo, Changzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Professor Wang Wenyu, Henan Provincial People's Hospital; Professor Huang Jiaqi, Second Xiangya Hospital, Central South University Prof. Liao Hongying of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, Prof. Zhang Ying of the West China Hospital of Sichuan University and Prof. Xue Hongan of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University were elected vice presidents. The branch hired Professor Wang Xinlu and Professor Zhang Wengao from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the branch advisers. The elected president Liu Deshan nominated Qiao Yun as the director general of the branch, and Liu Chunyan, Li Changling and Li Wenyi as deputy directors general of the branch. Professor Wang Shun, President of the Northern Branch of Chronic Disease Prevention and Treatment of the Chinese Geriatric Society, sent a congratulatory letter to the establishment of the branch of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine.
