Inaugural Meeting of Anesthesiology Branch of Chinese Society of Geriatrics
On April 17, 2021, the founding meeting of the Anesthesiology Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and the lecture of the Geriatric Anesthesia Perioperative Management Forum were held in Tianjin. Fan Li, President of the Chinese Geriatric Society, Xu Xiaodong, Vice President and Secretary General, Zhao Jiesong, Deputy Secretary General and Bai Xuesong, deputy director of the Member service Department, as well as well-known domestic experts and scholars who have long been engaged in clinical anesthesia medicine, rehabilitation, health care, scientific research, teaching and other related fields, attended the meeting, and the founding conference was presided over by Deputy Secretary General Zhao Jiesong.
President Fan Li delivered a speech, looking forward to the anesthesiology branch to actively respond to the problems faced by the aging of the social population, and integrate multiple resources to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment level of perioperative anesthesia-related diseases and complications of the elderly population, provide multi-dimensional services for the elderly population, provide the most scientific medical services, and reduce the social medical burden. After the establishment of the branch, the society will vigorously support the work of the branch, and it is believed that under the leadership of Professor Wang Guolin, the branch will unite anesthesiology experts and managers across the country, give full play to their professional advantages, work together, innovate and forge forward, and make contributions to improving the overall level of perioperative management of elderly patients in China.
Xu Xiaodong, Vice president and Secretary-General, with the title of "Strengthening the capacity building of branches and Promoting the development of geriatric medicine";, explained the organizational structure, work tasks, daily management and system regulations of the branch, providing guidance and basis for the construction of the branch. It is required that the members of the branch should have the courage to take responsibility, keep in mind the purpose of the society and the philosophy of ";academic establishment, service promotion, education strengthening, innovation construction, and law management", implement the work tasks of the society, give full play to the role of new forces, and add luster to the cause of geriatric medicine.
The Anesthesiology Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society is the first committee of the branch elected by democratic election in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Branches of the Chinese Geriatric Society. The first committee had 182 members and 56 standing members. Elected Professor Wang Guolin of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital as the first Chairman of the committee. Wang Yuelan, the First Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University, Wang Qiang, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Cang Jing, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, Li Wenzhi, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, Min Su, the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Ouyang Wen, the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, Huang Wenqi, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, PLA General Cao Jiangbei of the First Medical Center of the Hospital is the vice chairman of the first committee of the Branch, Xie Keliang of the General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University is the general director of the Branch, Li Hao of the First Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital, Li Yize of the General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University and Wang Xin of the General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University are the deputy General directors of the Branch.
