The General Meeting of the Promotion Committee for the Integration of Medical Care and Maintenance of the Chinese Geriatric Society was held in Beijing
On December 13, 2020, the General Assembly of the Promotion Committee of the Combination of Medical and Nursing Care of the Chinese Geriatrics Society was held in Beijing. Major General Su Yuanfu, former Vice President of the PLA General Hospital, Xu Xiaodong, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Chinese Geriatric Society, Deng Dongfei, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Geriatric Society, Zhao Jianguo, director of the Organization Management Department of the Chinese Geriatric Society, Chen Yunqi, Vice President of the first Council of the Chinese Geriatric Society, and Qin Xiaoling attended the conference. Nearly 200 experts and representatives from medical, pension, institutions and other units across the country participated in the conference.

Zhao Inheritance, director of the organizational management Department of the Chinese Geriatric Society, announced the election methods and regulations, and the election was completed in a solemn and orderly atmosphere, and 70 standing committee members and 147 members were elected. Professor Yang Tingshu was elected as the President of the second Committee of the Promotion Committee of the Combination of Medical and Nursing Care of the Chinese Gerontology Society. Hao Yuling, Huang Haiyang, Jiang Kaitian, Long Zongyao, Liu Fajun, Lin Feng, Ma Bailin, Sun Zhijun, Xu Weihua, Yu Xuecheng, Zhu Tingjun and Zhu Wenlong were elected as vice presidents of the second Committee of the Promotion Committee of the Combination of Medical and Nursing Care of the Chinese Geriatrics Society. Su Yuanfu and Chen Yunqi were appointed as the honorary presidents of the second Committee of the Promotion Committee of the Combination of Medical and Nursing Care of the Chinese Geriatrics Society.

In the afternoon, a seminar on the combination of medicine and nursing was held, and representatives from all walks of life discussed the necessity and great opportunities and prospects of the combination of medicine and nursing, and expressed their hope to deepen cooperation on the platform of the society, explore a new model of the combination of medicine and nursing, do a good job in health and nursing services, and give back to society.
President Yang Tingshu delivered the closing speech. He said that under the guidance of the Association and with the active participation of the experts and members of the Branch, the Medical and Nursing Integration Promotion Committee successfully completed the election work and produced a new branch leadership team.
