"Cognitive Disorder Summit Forum and 2023 ACDC Standing Committee" of Cognitive Disorder Branch of Chinese Geriatric Society was held
On May 12-14, 2023, the "Cognitive Impairment Summit Forum and 2023 ACDC Standing Committee" of the Cognitive Impairment Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society was successfully held in Huayin, Shaanxi Province. Nearly 100 experts, colleagues and representatives from all walks of life concerned about the development of cognitive disorders from all over the country participated in the meeting, jointly discussing the latest research results, diagnosis and treatment progress and future development trends in the field of cognitive disorders, and playing a role in promoting the development and construction of the discipline of cognitive disorders and improving the level of cognitive health services for the elderly.
The cognitive disability branch first organized participating party members to Mount Huashan party building activities. All party members challenged themselves on the steep mountain road of Huashan Mountain, showing the spirit of tenacious struggle and unremitting struggle. During the climbing, experts led by Professor Qian Hairong of the PLA General Hospital also rescued a scenic spot staff member suffering from heat stroke, reflecting the noble spirit of medical workers respecting life and saving the dying. The party building activities of climbing Huashan made the experts more firm in the original mission of party members and the determination to contribute to the prevention and treatment of cognitive disorders in the elderly.
On May 13, the working meeting of the standing Committee of the Cognitive Disorders Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society was held. Professor Wang Yongjun, Director General of the Branch, summarized the work of the Branch in 2021-2022. Professor Jia Jianjun, Chairman of the Committee, prospected the work in 2023 and made specific arrangements for the relevant work and the participation in the upcoming 9th China Gerontology and Technology Innovation Conference, the 2023 International Cognitive High-end Forum (Chengdu) and the preparations for the 7th Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Annual Conference (Hebei).
