Academic Forum on "Scientific Leadership of Healthy Geriatrics" Held by Health Management Branch of Chinese Geriatric Society in 2023
In order to implement the major strategic deployment of "Healthy China Action (2019-2030)"; and "Comprehensively Promote the construction of Healthy China", combined with the opportunity of the 87th China International Medical Device Expo (CMEF) and enhance the influence of the Society, guided by the Chinese Geriatric Society, On May 14, 2023, the academic forum with the theme of "Scientific Guidance for Healthy Aging", co-sponsored by the Health Management Branch of Chinese Geriatrics Society and Reed Sinoptila Exhibition Co., LTD., and hosted by Beijing Vocational College of Social Management (Training Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs), was successfully held in Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center.
The opening ceremony and closing ceremony of the conference were presided over by Sun Jinhai, Vice president of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and director of the Department of Health Management of the Navy Medical University. Tu Qilei, President of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and dean of the Geriatric Welfare College of Beijing Vocational College of Social Management (Training Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs), attended and delivered a warm welcome to all the experts and fellow visitors to this meeting. He sincerely hopes to exchange and discuss the cutting-edge technologies, latest ideas and research progress on geriatric health management through this conference, and pool wisdom. Seek common ground while reserving differences, so as to improve the risk assessment and management ability of elderly health.
The Forum set up six keynote reports: Tu Qilei, president of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and dean of the Senior Welfare College of Beijing Vocational College of Social Management (Training Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs), proposed the concept of smart health care for the elderly and smart health management with reference to the characteristics of home health care services in the international community, and introduced the hub community health care model of smart health management. Sun Jinhai, vice president of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and director of the Department of Health Management of the Navy Medical University, combined with the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly, explained the mode and method of health exercise management for the elderly. Zhang Zhifeng, member of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and director of Shanghai Medical Emergency Center, combined with his many years of practical experience, analyzed the background of medical digital transformation, elaborated the construction ideas of intelligent first aid, and laid a solid foundation for pre-hospital first aid for the elderly. Xue Wenjie, member of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society and director of the Community Health Service Center of Bansong Yuan Road, Huangpu District, shared the practice and example of community diabetes health management in combination with the practice and exploration of community health management. Liu Lijuan, member of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, secretary of the Party branch and deputy director of the Health Management Teaching and Research Office of the Navy Medical University, fully considered the characteristics of the elderly, combined with research data, and shared the management strategy of treatment burden to improve the health and quality of life of the elderly.
The conference invited 7 industry experts and 5 host guests to share the latest frontier of health management application development, discuss active and healthy aging policy and industrial development, study smart elderly care professional construction and talent training, health management discipline education, etc. The experts made wonderful speeches, and the participants actively exchanged ideas.
