On February 25, the 19th International Congress on Collaterology, co-sponsored by the Chinese Association of Chinese Medicine, the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, the Chinese Geriatrics Society and the Chinese Rural Health Association, was held at the National Convention Center in Beijing. At the Summit Forum on the innovation and transformation of collaterals theory in this conference, Wu Yiling, Yu Jinming, Zhang Yun and Jia Weiping, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, respectively made academic reports entitled "Construction and Innovation Transformation of the Theoretical System of Collateral Disease -- Research on Anti-Aging of Bazi Bushen Capsule Guided by the Theory of Qi and Collateral Theory";, "New Practice of Precision Oncology", "New Evidence of CAPITAL Chinese Medicine against Atherosclerosis", and "Research on Abnormal Blood Glucose Fluctuation and Intervention of Jinlida". Professor Yang Yuejin, President of the Chinese Geriatric Society, Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor Huang Xinxin, People's Hospital of Wuhan University, Professor Li Xinli, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, Professor Dong Qiang, Huashan Hospital of Fudan University, Professor Jia Zhenhua, President of Chinese Medicine Branch of Chinese Geriatrics Society and Hebei Institute of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, made an important academic report respectively, discussing the role of Tongluo drugs in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, chronic heart failure, cerebral infarction and respiratory diseases.
